Chios Capsules (Diosmin)

Adult dose

Adults: Take 300㎎ of diosmin orally twice daily (with lunch and dinner). In cases of recurrence or worsening of hemorrhoids, the dose may be increased to 1200-1800㎎ per day. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to its ingredients. Additionally, it is advisable for breastfeeding women not to take this medication. Pregnant women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication and should only take it if necessary. After taking this medication, gastrointestinal disturbances may occur, but it is rare for treatment to be discontinued due to such symptoms. If uncomfortable symptoms worsen during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, bringing along the product's leaflet for reference. Taking this medication does not eliminate the need for treatment of other anal conditions, so other treatment methods should also be considered. Furthermore, long-term use of this medication should be avoided, and if symptoms do not improve quickly, an anal examination should be performed, and the treatment approach should be reassessed. This medication should be stored in a secure place out of reach of children, and transferring medications from their original containers to other containers can lead to misuse or quality deterioration, so it must be stored in its original container securely sealed.
