This drug is used in conjunction with diet and exercise to help control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. It can be used alone or in combination with metformin in patients who are starting treatment and have difficulty controlling blood sugar with monotherapy. Additionally, it can be added when blood sugar control is inadequate with monotherapy or combination therapy using sulfonylureas, metformin, thiazolidinediones, or insulin. It is effective in improving blood sugar control through various combination therapies and monotherapies. Overall, this drug is used to improve blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes.

How to take

Adult dose
