Improvement of neuropathy and myalgia related to vitamin B1 deficiency and metabolic disorders.
This medication is used to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency. It is helpful in cases of insufficient vitamin B1 intake, such as hyperthyroidism, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and for individuals engaged in strenuous physical labor. It is particularly effective for the treatment of Wernicke's encephalopathy and beriberi heart disease. Additionally, it is used to improve symptoms suspected to be related to vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorders, such as neuropathy, myalgia, arthralgia, peripheral neuritis or paralysis, cardiac metabolic disorders, gastrointestinal motility issues like constipation, and postoperative intestinal obstruction. However, it is advisable not to use this medication for extended periods if it is not related to vitamin B1 deficiency. This drug alleviates various symptoms associated with vitamin B1 deficiency.
As phosphorylated thiamine, administer generally 5 to 100 mg subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously for adults. Adjust according to symptoms.
