This medication helps in the supportive treatment of weakened mental and physical functions. It is also used as an adjunctive therapy during the recovery period from amino acid deficiency. In other words, it assists in the recovery of physical functions and promotes mental health, thereby improving overall health.
How to take
Adult dose
For adolescents aged 12 and older and adults, take L-aspartic acid-L-arginine 5g once daily. It is preferable to take it in the morning, but it may also be taken before bedtime, and it can be taken with a small amount of water.
Precautions
This product contains the artificial sweetener aspartame. Aspartame is broken down into phenylalanine in the body, so patients with phenylketonuria, a genetic disorder that requires limitations on phenylalanine, should not take this medication. The amount of aspartame in this medication should be limited to below the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended level of 40mg/kg/day, which means a maximum daily dose of 2.4g for a 60kg adult. Patients with allergies to this medication or its components, severe renal or liver dysfunction, or a history of myocardial infarction should not take this medication. Additionally, it is advisable not to take antipsychotic drugs or sleep aids while using this medication, as combining them may excessively increase sleep effects. This medication contains caramel, so those with allergies or hypersensitivity to caramel should be cautious while taking it. Women experiencing issues with urination, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and those taking this medication for more than 15 days must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If unusual symptoms occur during use or if diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or other adverse effects occur due to overdose, stop using immediately and consult a professional. Lastly, this medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration.
