How to take

Adult dose

For adolescents aged 12 and older and adults, take 5 g of L-Aspartic Acid-L-Arginine once daily. It is preferable to take it in the morning, but it can also be taken before bedtime. It can be taken with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, individuals with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria should not take this medication. The daily intake of aspartame should be limited to no more than 40 mg per kg of body weight, which means that for a 60 kg adult, a maximum of 2.4 g per day is safe. Individuals who are allergic to this medication, have severe renal or liver dysfunction, or have a history of myocardial infarction should not take this medication. Additionally, it is advisable not to take antipsychotic drugs or sleeping pills while using this medication, as using sleeping pills together may excessively increase sleep effects. Individuals with urinary retention symptoms or those who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Animal studies have reported possible fetal malformations, so it is preferable not to use it during pregnancy. Lactating women should also avoid taking this medication, as it can be transmitted through breast milk. If long-term use of this medication is planned for more than 15 days, it should be discussed with a healthcare professional. This medication contains Yellow No. 5 dye, so individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it with caution. If symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting occur during use, or if an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider.
