This medication is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, especially erosive reflux esophagitis. By controlling excess gastric acid secretion, it prevents damage to the esophagus and improves the quality of life for patients. Therefore, it is effectively used for the treatment and recurrence prevention of gastroesophageal reflux disease and erosive reflux esophagitis.

How to take

Adult dose

1. In the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with erosive reflux esophagitis, administer 40 mg once daily for 4 weeks. If esophagitis is not resolved or symptoms persist, continue for an additional 4 weeks. 2. For long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence in patients with esophagitis, administer 20 mg once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, a history of hypersensitivity reactions, those taking certain antiviral medications, and nursing mothers should not take this medication.
