This medication is used for patients who need to take both Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan primarily treats essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It particularly decreases the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death from cardiovascular diseases in high-risk patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to improve dyslipidemia, such as hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, and slows the progression of atherosclerosis while reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is effective not only for chronic hyperlipidemia patients but also for middle-aged individuals at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. This medication is used to improve cardiovascular health in patients with both hypertension and dyslipidemia.
