Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as the ingredients can stimulate uterine contractions and increase the risk of preterm delivery. Additionally, nursing mothers are advised not to take this medication, as its components can be transmitted through breast milk, potentially causing diarrhea in the infant. Individuals allergic to soybean oil, beans, or peanuts should not take this medication due to the risk of allergic reactions. While taking this medication, do not take other anti-diarrheal drugs simultaneously, as drug interactions may cause side effects. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney disease, those with swelling, the elderly, and individuals on other medications should consult a specialist before using this medication. The risk of side effects may increase due to certain health conditions and medication use. If you experience diarrhea or loose stools, are weak in constitution, or have symptoms of appetite loss, nausea, or vomiting, you should also consult a specialist, as symptoms may worsen. Those with poor physical condition, excessive sweating, a history of heart disease, urinary problems, or hyperthyroidism should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Individuals who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as rashes or itching due to medication should exercise caution. Diabetic patients should be cautious, as components in this medication may increase blood sugar levels. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5, so those allergic to this ingredient need to be careful when taking it. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders, hyperlipidemia, or pancreatitis should also use this medication with caution. If any of the following symptoms occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist: facial or extremity swelling, increased blood pressure, muscle weakness or cramps, indigestion, skin rash, insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, urinary difficulties, liver dysfunction. If taking for constipation relief, if symptoms do not improve after 1 week or for other indications after 1 month, consult a specialist. Long-term use is not recommended; if prolonged use is necessary, consult a specialist. Stimulant laxatives can lead to tolerance and worsen constipation, so avoid continued use for more than 1 week. You must adhere to the prescribed dosage and instructions; when taking with other herbal medicines, watch for ingredient overlap. Side effects can occur when used with certain drugs, so adjust under the guidance of a specialist when taken with ephedra, ephedrine, MAO inhibitors, thyroid medications, catecholamine drugs, or xanthine derivatives. Caution should be exercised when used with potassium-containing medications or licorice-containing formulations, as muscle weakness or hypokalemia can occur. Patients with lipid metabolism problems should check plasma lipid levels and adjust the dosage of this medication if necessary. This medication should be stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and strong humidity, and out of reach of children.
