Precautions

This drug should not be administered to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to its components. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal bloating, and dyspepsia may occur, so caution is necessary. Additionally, rare allergic reactions such as hives, rashes, and itching may occur, so if these symptoms arise, the use of the medication should be discontinued immediately. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and numbness have also been reported, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Liver dysfunction and jaundice may occur, thus regular liver function tests are advised. There is a risk of decreased white blood cells or platelets, so if any unusual symptoms occur, consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. Taking this medication with food may lower its blood concentration, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully consider the administration of this medication, and nursing mothers are advised to avoid breastfeeding while taking it. The safety for use in children or newborns has not been sufficiently established, so caution is needed.
