Improvement of blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes
This medication is used to help manage blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. For those undergoing treatment for the first time, this medication can be taken alone, and if it is not sufficient for blood sugar control, it can be used in combination with metformin. Additionally, this medication may be used with other drugs such as sulfonylureas, thiazolidinediones, or insulin when blood sugar is not adequately controlled by these other agents. If blood sugar control is still difficult even with combined therapy of two or more drugs, this medication can be added to enhance therapeutic effects. It helps improve blood sugar management tailored to various treatment situations.
