This medication is used in patients who are required to take both olmesartan medoxomil and rosuvastatin. Olmesartan medoxomil is primarily effective in treating essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin aids in cholesterol control and is used as an adjunct to dietary therapy for various patients with hyperlipidemia and dyslipidemia. Additionally, it reduces blood cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia, thereby slowing the progression of atherosclerosis. In adult patients with cardiovascular risk factors, it contributes to reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization. Therefore, this drug is used to improve cardiovascular health by managing both hypertension and dyslipidemia.
