This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous treatment with valsartan and rosuvastatin. Valsartan helps treat essential hypertension and heart failure, as well as reducing the risk of mortality following myocardial infarction. It is particularly useful for heart failure patients who have shown intolerance to ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin regulates cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, and is effective in slowing the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it is used to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and adverse outcomes after vascular interventions in patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease. Therefore, this medication aids in the treatment of patients with both hypertension and dyslipidemia.
