This medication is used to treat constipation and helps relieve symptoms such as appetite loss, abdominal distension, intestinal fermentation, and hemorrhoids caused by constipation. Taking this medication can smooth bowel movements, improving these discomforts.

How to take

Adult dose

For those 15 years and older: Take 1 capsule at a time, up to 2 times a day, preferably on an empty stomach. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours apart. However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

Do not take this medication if you have acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction. Those with allergies or hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should also avoid this medication. It is recommended not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Those with severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting symptoms, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, or those taking other medications should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Caution is also required for those on a sodium-restricted diet or with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal deficiency. Patients with abnormalities in fat metabolism, hyperlipidemia, diabetic hyperlipidemia, pancreatitis, and similar conditions should use this medication carefully. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5; those allergic to this ingredient should be cautious. If there are any symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after more than 1 week of use, discontinue and seek advice. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and administration accurately, and it is generally advised that children under 10 years of age avoid taking this medication unless in special cases. Long-term use of this medication may lead to drug tolerance or worsening of constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than 1 week, and if continued use of laxatives is necessary, the cause should be identified. Patients at risk for fat overload should monitor their blood lipid levels and adjust this medication's dosage as necessary. If using other lipid medications, adjust according to the total lipid amount. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, for quality maintenance, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
