This medication is used for patients who require co-administration of two drugs, Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is mainly used for patients with essential hypertension or heart failure, especially in cases of left ventricular dysfunction, when used as an add-on therapy to ACE inhibitors or when tolerance is poor. Rosuvastatin is administered as an adjunct when dietary therapy and exercise do not control hypercholesterolemia and combined hyperlipidemia, helping to slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. It is particularly effective in reducing the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction in middle-aged patients with high-sensitive C-reactive protein levels. This medication improves cardiovascular health by managing both hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
