(Hypertension, heart failure) improvement and treatment of (hypercholesterolemia)
This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous administration of two drugs, candesartan cilexetil and rosuvastatin. Candesartan cilexetil is primarily used for patients with essential hypertension and heart failure with reduced left ventricular function when there is a need for additional ACE inhibitors or when intolerable. Rosuvastatin is used for various types of dyslipidemia that are difficult to control with diet and exercise, especially for patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or familial hypercholesterolemia. Additionally, rosuvastatin helps to lower total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures in patients with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and cardiovascular disease risk factors. Therefore, this medication is used to manage both hypertension and hyperlipidemia simultaneously and improve cardiovascular disease risk.

Heart failure 1) Adults: An initial dose of 4 mg taken orally once daily is recommended.
