This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous administration of Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is used in patients with essential hypertension and heart failure (especially those with impaired left ventricular function) when combination therapy with ACE inhibitors is needed or is not tolerated well. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct therapy for uncontrolled hypercholesterolemia, particularly familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia, and is also used in the treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. Furthermore, it lowers total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol to delay the progression of atherosclerosis and helps reduce the risks of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention in patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. This medication is used to effectively manage these cardiovascular diseases and lipid disorders.
