This medication is used as an alternative treatment for patients taking both nebivolol and rosuvastatin. Nebivolol helps as an adjunct treatment for essential hypertension and mild to moderate chronic heart failure in elderly patients aged 70 and older. Rosuvastatin is used to treat hypercholesterolemia and various lipid disorders, particularly familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia. In addition, rosuvastatin aids in lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis, and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. It is especially effective in reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in specific high-risk patient populations. Therefore, this medication is used to improve hypertension, heart failure, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular disease risk.
