View approved original text

Rosuvastatin effectively lowers LDL cholesterol levels in high-risk patients with coronary artery disease, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. However, it may have limited effectiveness in controlling triglyceride levels in patients with mixed dyslipidemia and high triglyceride levels. This medication is primarily focused on LDL cholesterol control and is used for the prevention of cardiovascular complications.
