Colensina Soft Gel Capsule (Choline Alphoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg of choline alfoscerate orally per dose, 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this medication or its components. Additionally, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication. Nausea may occur when taking this medication, which may be due to the action of the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain. In such cases, the dosage should be reduced. It can affect the gastrointestinal system and may cause gastritis or other gastric disorders. It may also have an effect on the mental and neurological systems, resulting in drowsiness, insomnia, irritability, or nervousness; in severe cases, seizures or excessive motor behavior may occur. This medication must be stored out of reach of children in a safe place. Additionally, transferring to another container may cause accidents or reduce the quality of the medication, so it should be stored in its original container.
