Precautions

This medication should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to this medication or any of its components. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a genetic lactose intolerance should not take it. While taking this medication, do not take it with another drug called levodopa, as the vitamin B6 in this medication could reduce the effectiveness of levodopa. Patients receiving medical treatment or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for about a month, inform your doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, if symptoms such as hives, rash, or itching occur, stop taking this medication immediately and consult a specialist. If appetite decreases, or if you experience abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, stop taking this medication and consult your doctor. Taking excessive vitamin B6 can cause nerve damage, so caution should be exercised, especially during long-term use for more than 6 months. If newborns or infants take this medication, there is a risk of severe drowsiness, low blood pressure, and respiratory distress, so caution is necessary. If this medication is accidentally taken in large quantities, consult a specialist immediately. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, as the long-term use of pyridoxine antagonists, alcohol, or certain contraceptive pills can lead to vitamin B6 deficiency. Also, the drug 5-fluorouracil can inactivate thiamine, so caution is advised when taken together. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container and take care to avoid misuse or abuse.
