This medication should not be used by individuals with allergies or a history of hypersensitivity to specific ingredients. Patients who have had asthma attacks triggered by aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid using this medication, as it may worsen asthma. Furthermore, those who have experienced hives or acute rhinitis symptoms from similar medications should not use this drug. Patients with bronchial asthma should exercise caution when using this medication due to the risk of asthma attacks. This medication contains propylene glycol, so individuals allergic or sensitive to this ingredient should use it with caution. Additionally, the sodium pyrosulfite contained in this medication may trigger allergic reactions or, in severe cases, life-threatening asthma attacks, so asthmatic patients should be especially careful. Skin itching, redness, rashes, eczema, contact dermatitis, irritation, or blisters may occur during use. If these symptoms are severe, use should be discontinued immediately. This medication is a symptomatic treatment that alleviates inflammation and pain and is not a cure for the underlying cause. Inflammation accompanied by skin infection should be treated with antibacterials or antifungals, with careful observation of the condition during use. When used for chronic diseases, other treatment methods should be considered alongside pharmacotherapy, and the patient’s condition and occurrence of side effects should be meticulously monitored. In the late stages of pregnancy, using this medication may delay delivery or cause difficult labor, so it is safest for pregnant or potentially pregnant women and nursing mothers to avoid use. Safety in pediatric patients has not been fully established, so its use is not recommended for children. This medication should not be applied to damaged skin or mucous membrane areas, and it is advisable not to use it on areas with eczema or rash.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
