Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medicine or its components. Additionally, this medicine contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, which should be taken with caution by those with a history of allergy to this component or hypersensitivity. The pyridoxine component in this medicine may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa, so those taking levodopa should not take it together. Individuals receiving medical treatment or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medicine for more than a month, consult a doctor or pharmacist, and if allergic symptoms such as skin rashes or itching occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, or loose stools occur, stop taking this medicine and seek consultation. Excessive intake of vitamin B6 can cause nerve damage, so do not take more than 1 gram per day, and be cautious as neuropathy may occur with prolonged use of more than 6 months. If newborns or infants take this medicine, serious side effects such as severe sedation, low blood pressure, and respiratory distress may occur, so special caution is advised. If an overdose is accidentally taken, immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medicine should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and method, and be cautious since the long-term use of certain medications, alcohol, and oral contraceptives can lead to vitamin B6 deficiency. Furthermore, the drug 5-fluorouracil can inactivate the thiamine component in this medicine, so it is advisable to consult a specialist when taken together. This medicine should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. To keep the quality, do not transfer to another container, and be cautious to prevent drug misuse.
