Relief of muscle tension such as neuralgia and myalgia
This medication is used to alleviate pain associated with various conditions such as neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, and lumbago, as well as pain in muscles and joints such as contusions and shoulder pain. It is also effective for conditions that accompany abnormal muscle tension, such as muscle spasms or rigidity. This drug helps reduce muscle and nerve-related pain and improves overall muscle condition. Therefore, it is used to relieve pain and stiffness in muscles and joints.
Adults: Take 2 tablets at a time, up to 4 times a day, avoiding taking on an empty stomach. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication can cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medicine contains acetaminophen, and taking it with other medications containing acetaminophen can lead to liver damage; therefore, do not take it with other acetaminophen products. This medication should not be administered to individuals with specific allergies, particularly those who are hypersensitive to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen, or who have experienced allergic reactions after taking this drug. If you experience hives, swelling, chest tightness, high fever along with skin rashes or mucosal damage, or asthma symptoms while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Caution should be exercised when taking this medication along with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol, as it can increase the risk of liver damage due to delayed breakdown of acetaminophen. Individuals with severe liver or kidney disease and those with a history of drug allergies should use this medication with caution. Side effects such as skin rashes, itching, blood in stools, gastrointestinal disturbances, drowsiness, and dizziness may rarely occur while taking this medication; if unusual symptoms appear, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should take this medication cautiously under a doctor's supervision, as its safety has not been fully established. Caution is needed when taking this drug with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, as it can exacerbate side effects.
