Improvement of symptoms related to vitamin B1 deficiency and metabolic disorders such as neuralgia and myalgia
This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency. It helps replenish vitamin B1 that may be lacking due to wasting diseases, hyperthyroidism, during pregnancy and lactation, and intense physical labor. It is also effective for neurological and cardiac disorders such as Wernicke's encephalopathy and beriberi heart disease. It may help with various symptoms associated with vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorders, including neuralgia, myalgia, and peripheral neuritis. However, long-term use without a specific indication is not recommended. This medication is used to improve various symptoms caused by vitamin B1 deficiency.
As fursultiamine, the usual dosage for adults is 5 to 100 mg administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously daily. Adjust doses according to symptoms.
This medication is provided in injection form, and caution must be exercised when cutting the glass ampoule to prevent glass fragments from contaminating the solution. Extra care is needed when administering to children or the elderly. It should not be administered to patients who have had hypersensitivity reactions to this medication or any of its components. Care should be taken when administering to patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions. Serious adverse reactions such as shock can occur rarely when using this medication, so if symptoms like blood pressure drop, chest pain, or difficulty breathing occur, administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as rash, nausea, vomiting, oral ulcers, diarrhea, headache, and polyuria may occur rarely. When injecting, it is advisable to inject slowly to minimize vascular pain. To prevent bacterial contamination, any unused portion of the solution should not be reused. When cutting the ampoule, it should be done in a one-point cut method, applying force in the opposite direction while keeping the marked side facing up, and the upper part of the ampoule should be carefully cleaned with alcohol swab to prevent contamination. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and transferring it to other containers should be avoided as it may pose a risk of accidents and quality degradation.

This medication can be sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a light-protective container. Furthermore, to maintain the efficacy of the medication, it is best to store it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
