Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals with hypersensitivity to specific ingredients or a history of allergies. Especially, infants under 12 months and those allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take it. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with phosphates, calcium salts, tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, or Levodopa. Individuals receiving medical treatment, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with heart or kidney issues, and patients with hypoproteinemia should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should also exercise caution. Since this medication contains the pigment Yellow No. 5, those allergic to this component should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, rash, nausea, or vomiting occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Changes in menstruation may occur, and there is an increased risk of thrombosis, so women taking estrogen-containing contraceptives should be particularly careful. High doses of pyridoxine taken over a long period may cause neurological symptoms, so caution is necessary. Overdose may lead to gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema. Co-administration with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene may increase the risk of hyperkalemia, so be careful. If symptoms do not improve after a month of use, it is advisable to consult a specialist. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. This medication may alter urine color to yellow, which may affect test results. Patients with lipid metabolism issues should regularly check plasma lipid levels and adjust dosages as necessary. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, and in a tightly sealed container to prevent misuse.
