Improvement of arthritis symptoms such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
This medication is effective for degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used for relieving fever and body aches caused by colds, low back pain, and dysmenorrhea, as well as postoperative pain relief. Additionally, it helps with conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, and psoriatic arthritis, as well as soft tissue injuries such as sprains or strains, and rheumatoid diseases not involving joints like tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and bursitis. This medication is used to improve various pains and inflammatory diseases.
For rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-joint rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Ibuprofen 200-600 mg orally 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dose can be up to 3200 mg. For juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: 30-40 mg per kg of body weight divided into 3-4 oral doses daily. For mild to moderate pain, colds: 200-400 mg orally 3-4 times a day.
Children weighing less than 30 kg should not exceed a daily dose of 500 mg (25 ml) and should preferably avoid taking it on an empty stomach. The dosage for children is as follows: Aged 11-14 years: 200-
This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day, as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular events, so patients with cardiovascular disease or risk factors or those taking it for a long time should carefully monitor for adverse reactions. Patients with hypertension, congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, and cerebrovascular disease should use this medication cautiously, and high doses should be avoided. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so elderly patients or those taking it long-term should exercise particular caution. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver impairment, kidney impairment, heart failure, hypertension, and hypersensitivity should not take this medication. Patients with bronchial asthma or those who have had hypersensitivity reactions to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take this medication. This medication should not be taken during the late stages of pregnancy as it may harm the fetus, and patients undergoing chemotherapy should also avoid it. This medication should not exceed the recommended dose and should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If breastfeeding, it is important to discontinue breastfeeding or the medication, as it may be passed into breast milk and cause adverse reactions in infants. Patients with a history of blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver impairment, kidney impairment, heart disease, hypertension, and hypersensitivity should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. This medication may interact with certain drugs (such as ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, SSRIs, etc.), so be sure to inform your healthcare provider of any other medications being taken. This medication can cause allergic reactions or severe skin adverse reactions, so if symptoms such as rash, itching, or difficulty breathing occur, it should be discontinued immediately, and medical advice should be sought. This medication should be taken for the shortest duration possible and at the minimum effective dosage. Regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted for patients taking it long-term. Report any changes in blood pressure, edema, or kidney function immediately to your healthcare provider. In case of an overdose, symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and kidney failure may occur, so if these are suspected, seek medical attention immediately. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and store it in its original container to prevent misuse or quality degradation.
