Prevention and relief of motion sickness (dizziness, vomiting)
This medication is used to prevent and relieve dizziness, vomiting, and headaches caused by motion sickness.
For the prevention of motion sickness, take 2 tablets sublingually or chew them 30 minutes before travel. If additional doses are needed, take 2 tablets at least 4 hours apart. The maximum daily dose is 2 doses. Ages 15 and older: 2 tablets per dose
Ages 13 to under 15: 1 tablet per dose
This drug contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body. Patients with phenylketonuria, a hereditary condition that requires regulation of phenylalanine, should not take this medication. The daily allowable dose of aspartame is limited to under 40mg per kg of body weight, so it should be used in the minimal amounts possible. For example, an adult weighing 60kg may take up to 2.4g per day. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance or lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Also, it is safe for children under 12 years old to avoid taking this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to combine it with other antiemetics, cold medications, antipyretics, antihistamines, sedatives, cough suppressants, or gastrointestinal medications. Those with a history of allergic reactions, pregnant women, nursing mothers, patients with heart disease, glaucoma, urinary disorders, frail individuals, or the elderly should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, individuals with respiratory diseases such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis should exercise caution. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5, and individuals allergic to this component should take it with care. If symptoms such as skin rash, reddening, itching, headache, facial flushing, photophobia, urinary disorders, dry mouth, constipation, or drowsiness occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage, and when administering to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. This medication may cause drowsiness, so avoid dangerous activities such as driving or operating machinery, and it is advisable not to consume alcoholic beverages during treatment. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. To maintain quality, it is safe not to transfer it to another container.
