This medication is used for gastrointestinal symptoms such as excess stomach acid, heartburn, and belching.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults over 16 years may take 1 tablet (10 mg) at a time, up to 2 tablets (20 mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by those who are allergic to any specific ingredients or have had hypersensitivity reactions to similar types of medications. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. If you have difficulty swallowing food or experience pain, or if you have blood in your vomit or stool, you must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than 3 months, it is necessary to consult a specialist. Caution is also required if dizziness, drowsiness, or cold sweats occur; if symptoms of shortness of breath occur with chest or shoulder pain, you should immediately inform a healthcare professional. If chest pain occurs frequently or unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain develops, you should seek immediate consultation. Patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or with a history of drug allergies must consult a professional before taking this medication. Patients with kidney or liver dysfunction, heart disease, elderly patients, pregnant or possibly pregnant women, and nursing mothers should also consult a doctor before taking this medication. If you are taking any other medications such as certain antifungals or antineoplastics, you should consult a specialist as interactions may occur. This medication contains certain dyes; individuals allergic to these components should take it with caution. If symptoms persist or worsen, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional; it is also safe not to take this medication for more than 14 days.
