Precautions

This medication should be used with caution in women during the first three months of pregnancy or those who might become pregnant, as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily can increase the risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Patients with excessively high calcium levels in the blood, unknown causes of systemic inflammatory diseases, renal diseases, or allergies to this medication or its components should not take it. Babies under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and patients with severe renal failure should also not take this medication. During the use of this medication, do not take phosphate, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, antacids, and medications such as levodopa. Children under 1 year, patients under medical treatment, children exposed to a lot of sunlight, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult with an expert before taking it. If side effects such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, joint swelling, diarrhea, skin rashes, arrhythmia, hair loss, etc. occur during the use of this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term high-dose use may cause tolerance, and certain vitamins taken together may lead to nerve damage or blood abnormalities, so caution is advised. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and it should be administered under parental supervision for children. It is preferable to avoid teas containing tannins such as green tea or black tea during use, and since the vitamin A included in this medication can be sufficiently ingested through normal meals, supplemental doses should be kept below 5,000 IU daily. This medication should be stored in a closed container to protect it from air and moisture. It should be kept in a cool place away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children, and should not be transferred to another container.
