This medication is used for patients whose hypertension is not adequately controlled with amlodipine and valsartan combination therapy, and it is suitable for those who need to be treated with atorvastatin at the same time. The amlodipine/valsartan combination helps effectively control essential hypertension. Atorvastatin plays a crucial role in lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases, especially reducing the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke. Moreover, it lowers the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, complications after vascular surgery, angina, and hospitalization for congestive heart failure in patients with diabetes or symptoms of cardiovascular disease. This medication also improves cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with dyslipidemia, contributing to the maintenance of vascular health. Therefore, this medication effectively improves cardiovascular health by managing hypertension and dyslipidemia.
