This medication is used for patients who need to take a combination of amlodipine, valsartan, and atorvastatin at the same time. The amlodipine/valsartan combination helps to control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not well controlled by monotherapy. Atorvastatin effectively reduces the risk of various cardiovascular diseases and is effective for the treatment of dyslipidemia. It is particularly used to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, need for vascular surgery, and angina, and is also helpful for patients with diabetes and high-risk coronary artery disease. Furthermore, it improves cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. Therefore, this medication is used to manage risk factors related to blood pressure and lipid-related diseases.
