This medication is used to alleviate various symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chill, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 15 mL after meals three times a day, with an interval of 4 hours between doses. For ages 15 years and older, take 15 mL.

Child dose

Aged 11 years and older – under 15 years 10 mL Aged 7 years and older – under 11 years 7.5 mL Aged 3 years and older – under 7 years 5 mL Aged 2 years and older – under 3 years 3.8 mL

Precautions

This medication may put stress on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, serious skin reactions may rarely occur; therefore, if a skin rash or allergy symptoms appear after taking it, application should be immediately stopped. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen of 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Individuals with known allergies to this medication or a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, and persons taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take it. While taking this medication, it is safe not to take cough or phlegm medications, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, especially those under 15 years of age, should consult a doctor before taking it, and infants under 2 years of age need special care. Individuals with allergic tendencies, a history of drug allergies, chronic diseases such as liver or kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure should consult a specialist before taking it. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as individuals taking other medications, should also consult a doctor before taking it. If unusual symptoms such as rashes, itching, dizziness, vomiting, or difficulty urinating occur during use, application should be stopped immediately, and a professional should be consulted. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration closely, and it's advisable not to use it for a long period. Avoid alcohol while taking it, and be cautious when driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness may occur. There is a risk of side effects when taken with certain medications, so inform your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking. When storing, keep it in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and protect it from direct sunlight. Additionally, do not transfer it to another container, and it is important to store it in the original container to prevent misuse.

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, cough with fever → Interstitial pneumonia
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), severe generalized body symptoms

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema, difficulty urinating, dryness of the mouth, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, drowsiness, gastrointestinal issues (heartburn, gastric discomfort, stomach pain)
