This medicine is used to treat various symptoms and diseases related to gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is effective for the treatment and prevention of erosive reflux esophagitis, as well as for the relief of symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease without esophagitis. It also helps treat and prevent recurrence of duodenal ulcers and peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. It is used to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms associated with NSAID use as well as for the treatment and prevention of related gastric and duodenal ulcers. It is utilized in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and for the maintenance therapy to prevent rebleeding from gastric or duodenal ulcers. This drug is used for the treatment and symptom improvement of various gastrointestinal diseases.

Dosage and Administration

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to individuals with known allergies or hypersensitivity to any of its components. In cases of overdose, there is no specific antidote available, so appropriate treatment should be provided according to symptoms. Urticaria, angioedema, anaphylaxis, shock, severe allergic reactions, severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/ocular mucosa, severe skin adverse reactions, bronchospasm, respiratory difficulty or breathing difficulties, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), hepatitis, liver failure, encephalopathy, sudden and severe headache, seizures, altered consciousness, visual disturbances.
