Precautions

This medication should not be used by children or women. In particular, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should avoid touching broken pieces of this medication, as it can be absorbed through the skin and may harm male fetuses. As this medication is primarily metabolized in the liver, caution should be exercised in patients with impaired liver function. Additionally, patients with lipid metabolism disorders such as hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should also be treated cautiously. Depression or mood changes may occur during treatment, so if these symptoms arise, medical consultation should be sought immediately. There have been reports of sexual dysfunction-related adverse reactions, including decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculation disorders. If these symptoms appear, the use of this medication should be discontinued and a physician should be consulted. Pregnant women should not take this medication, and caution should be taken in situations where there is contact with pregnant women, as this medication can cause genital abnormalities in male fetuses. Patients with lactose intolerance or allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take this medication. Long-term use of this medication may increase the risk of prostate cancer; therefore, it is important to have regular check-ups and evaluations by a physician. This medication has relatively few interactions with other drugs, but any other medications being taken should be reported to a doctor or pharmacist. During treatment, if there are any unusual symptoms or pain in the breast, or any lumps, one should inform a doctor immediately and get examined. This medication's safety and effectiveness have not been established for children, and while elderly patients do not require dose adjustments, its efficacy has not been sufficiently proven. There are no specific antidotes for overdose, so strict adherence to the dosage is essential, and it should be kept out of the reach of children.
