This medication is used to treat skin fungal infections caused by dermatophytes, specifically athlete's foot, jock itch, and tinea.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to any of its components. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing women, should not use this medication. In addition, children and infants should not use this medication. This medication should not be applied to sensitive areas such as around the eyes, mucous membranes, the scrotum, and external genitalia. It is advisable not to use it on areas with eczema, severe wounds, or on nails and the scalp. As this medication contains propylene glycol, individuals with hypersensitivity or allergic history to this substance should use it with caution. During the use of this medication, it is safe to discontinue breastfeeding due to the possibility of the drug being secreted into breast milk. Individuals undergoing treatment or those with a history of drug allergy should consult a healthcare professional before use. Particularly, if applying the medication to the face or large areas, or if there is suppuration, and if there is uncertainty about whether it's eczema or another skin condition, a professional diagnosis is needed. If skin rash, redness, itching, swelling, irritation, warmth, peeling, dryness, or cracking occurs during use, discontinue immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after using for more than 2 weeks, cease using the medication and consult a professional. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and method of use; do not use if the affected area and surroundings are not clean. Do not touch the eyes or mucous membranes with hands that have come into contact with the medication, and if it gets in the eyes, wash immediately with clean water and seek ophthalmologic treatment. This medication is for external use only on the skin; do not use it in the mouth or other internal areas. Store the medication in a dark, sealed container away from direct sunlight and at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C to maintain efficacy and safety. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to other containers and do not use after the expiration date; it is preferable to use it as soon as possible after opening.
