Treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and brain function disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, etc.)
This drug is mainly used to treat peripheral artery circulation disorders, particularly intermittent claudication. It also helps alleviate symptoms of dizziness and vascular or degenerative tinnitus. Additionally, it is effective in improving symptoms of brain function disorders associated with dementia, such as tinnitus, headaches, memory impairment, concentration difficulties, feelings of depression, and dizziness. Overall, it improves blood circulation and enhances brain function to treat various symptoms.
1) For peripheral artery circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: Administer Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract 40mg orally three times a day or 80mg orally twice a day. 2) For organic brain function disorders: Administer Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract 40-80mg orally three times a day or 120mg orally twice a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with hypersensitivity to certain components. Children under 12 years of age should avoid use due to insufficient experience with this medication. Pregnant women should use caution as there is insufficient information about the safety of this drug during pregnancy. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with problems metabolizing lactose should avoid taking it. Patients with bleeding disorders or those taking medications that increase bleeding risk should consult a specialist before using this drug. Breastfeeding women should also consult a specialist due to uncertainty about the safety of this medication. Individuals scheduled for surgery should discontinue use and discuss with their physician. If symptoms do not improve after 3 months or worsen, consult a specialist immediately. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occur, so if abnormal symptoms arise, discontinue use and seek advice. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching have been reported, so caution is advised if these symptoms occur. Severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis may rarely occur, so if serious symptoms arise, consult medical personnel immediately. This drug is not for the treatment of hypertension, so it is safest for hypertensive patients to avoid it. Keep out of reach of children, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
