Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66g (23-62mg of lidocaine) as an ointment 5-15 minutes before sexual intercourse. Dosage and application time vary individually; use the minimum effective amount. Do not exceed a maximum of 2g (184mg of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by the person or their partner if there are allergic reactions to this drug or other amide-type local anesthetics. Patients with wounds or inflammation on the application area should avoid using this medication. This medication should not be administered to a partner who is pregnant. Patients with liver or kidney disease should use this medication with extra caution. If rash or irritation occurs on the skin while using this medication, usage should be immediately stopped, and if symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Long-term use for more than 3 months without a doctor's instruction should be avoided. This medication is for external use only and should not be applied on mucous membranes such as the eyes or nose. Repetitive application to the same area is not recommended. This medication should be stored out of reach of children in a safe place. Store it away from high temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, very low temperatures, and direct sunlight. Unused medication should not be burned but discarded properly.
