Analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects for degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) and muscle pain.
This medication is primarily used for inflammatory diseases related to tendons such as degenerative arthritis, periarthritis of the shoulder, tendonitis, and humeral epicondylitis. It is also effective in alleviating muscle pain and swelling and pain that occurs after trauma. It improves discomfort through analgesic and anti-inflammatory actions for these symptoms.
After removing the protective film from the medication side, apply one sheet twice a day to the affected area (site of disease).
This medication should not be used in certain patients. Firstly, patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components, or other medications containing Pelvinek should not take this medication. Secondly, patients who have experienced an asthma attack while using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics, or have a history of asthma, may have worsening asthma symptoms when taking this medication. Thirdly, patients who have experienced hives or acute rhinitis symptoms due to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics should not use this medication. This medication should be used with caution in some patients. Patients with bronchial asthma may have a risk of asthma attacks when using this medication and should be careful. Additionally, this medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it with caution. When using this medication, side effects such as itching, red spots, redness, dermatitis, contact dermatitis, irritation, or blisters may occasionally occur on the skin. If these symptoms are severe, usage should be stopped immediately, and a consultation with an expert should be sought. This medication is a treatment for alleviating symptoms and is not a medication that treats the underlying cause. When applying to inflamed areas accompanied by skin infections, since the infection may not be outwardly visible, it should be used in conjunction with antibacterial or antifungal agents, and the condition should be closely monitored. When using for chronic diseases, not only drug therapy but also other treatment methods should be considered, and the patient's condition and side effects should be carefully observed. During pregnancy, especially in the later stages, this medication may cause complications during delivery or delay labor, making it safe for women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or breastfeeding not to use this medication. For children, the safety of this medication has not been sufficiently confirmed, so caution is required when using it. This medication should not be applied to damaged skin or mucous membranes, and should also be avoided in areas with eczema or rashes.
