How to take

Adult dose

For ages 16 and older, take 1 tablet (10 mg) per dose, up to 2 tablets (20 mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with allergies to specific components or hypersensitivity to H2 receptor antagonists. It also contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take it. Consult a doctor if you have difficulty swallowing food or have pain, or if you have vomiting blood or bloody stools. If heartburn persists for more than 3 months or if accompanied by dizziness, drowsiness, or cold sweats, consult a professional. If you experience symptoms related to the heart, such as chest pain or difficulty breathing, you must consult a doctor before taking this medication. If unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain occurs, notify a professional immediately. Be cautious if you have allergies to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or other medications. Patients with kidney or liver problems, heart disease, elderly patients, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women should consult healthcare providers before taking. There may be drug interactions when taken with certain antifungals or anticancer drugs, so inform your doctor about any medications you are taking. If symptoms do not improve or worsen while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor.
