Improvement of constipation and bowel cleansing effect
This medication is effective for relieving constipation and is used to cleanse the intestines. It helps in cleansing the bowels especially before intestinal examinations. Therefore, it is suitable for individuals suffering from constipation or those preparing for bowel examinations.
Adults and children over 12 years: Administer 30 mL of this medication rectally once a day. Before use, shake well, open the container, and while lying on the left side or in the knee-chest position, administer rectally.
Under 12 years: Not for use
This medication should not be used in children under 12 years of age. Patients with perforation or suspected perforation of the intestine, or those with acute abdominal conditions should not use this medication. Do not use in cases of intestinal paralysis, obstruction, severe abdominal pain, or nausea. Patients with severe spastic constipation or hard stools, as well as those immediately after acute appendectomy, should avoid this medication. Avoid use in cases of anal fissures, acute enteritis, severe dehydration, or profound systemic weakness. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its ingredients should avoid using it. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and nursing mothers should consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Consult a specialist if there are sudden changes in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks, continuous use of laxatives for over 1 week, or if experiencing abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting. It is advisable for elderly patients to consult a physician before use. If rectal bleeding occurs during use or if there is no effect within 20 minutes after use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. If this medication is accidentally ingested, notify a healthcare professional immediately. This medication may cause abdominal discomfort, lethargy, rectal burning, or mild cramps. This medication is intended for rectal use only and should never be ingested. Care should be taken when inserting the medication as there is a risk of injuring the rectal mucosa. Monitor the patient's condition closely during use and discontinue immediately if any unusual symptoms occur. Stimulant laxatives should not be used daily or for prolonged periods without identifying the underlying cause of constipation, as prolonged use may reduce efficacy and worsen constipation. This medication should only be used under medical supervision in situations requiring bowel preparation, such as for medical examinations. Store this medication out of reach of children, and keep it in a cool place below 30 degrees Celsius. After use, ensure the cap is tightly closed for safe storage.
