Treatment of androgenetic alopecia
This medication is used for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in adult males, especially those aged 18 to 41. Androgenetic alopecia is a hair loss condition primarily caused by genetics and hormonal changes. This drug helps slow the progression of hair loss and promotes hair growth. With consistent use, it can effectively manage hair loss symptoms by improving hair density and thickness. Generally, finasteride is administered orally at a dose of 1 mg once a day, with or without food.
This medication should not be used by children or women.
