Itax Capsule (Grape Leaf Extract)

Adult dosage

Adults: Take 360 mg of grape leaf dry extract once daily with water before breakfast.

This medication should not be taken by individuals with allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to its components. Additionally, it is advisable for children and adolescents not to use this medication. Individuals with glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication in capsule form. It is safer for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to avoid this medication. Women who are breastfeeding should also avoid this medication as it is uncertain if the drug is transmitted through breast milk, and breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment. Women who may become pregnant should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as hives, itching, skin rashes, photosensitivity, or eczema occur while taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. It is advisable to consult a doctor if gastrointestinal issues such as stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhea arise, along with headaches. Particularly, if sudden pain, swelling, skin discoloration, tightness, or warmth occurs in one leg, it may indicate serious thrombosis, and immediate consultation with healthcare personnel is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than 6 weeks, discontinue use and consult a physician. Although the medication must be taken for several weeks to see therapeutic effects, it is advisable not to exceed 3 months. There is insufficient research on the effects of this medication on driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. No serious side effects have been reported from overdose, but the prescribed dosage must be strictly followed. Treatments such as leg bandaging or compression stockings authorized by a physician should continue regardless of this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, it should not be transferred from its original container to another container and should be securely closed in its original container.
