This medication is used to improve constipation. It also helps relieve symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestine, and hemorrhoids that may arise due to constipation. Therefore, it is effective for maintaining intestinal health and reducing gastrointestinal discomfort.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1-2 tablets once, at bedtime (on an empty stomach) per day. For the first dose, take a minimal amount and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stools.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with acute abdominal disease or bowel obstruction. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take antacids or milk within 1 hour of ingestion. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, as well as pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, those taking other medications, individuals with allergic tendencies or family histories, and those with rectal bleeding or a history of bowel dysfunction should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If skin rashes, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal discomfort or cramps occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, if constipation does not improve after about a week of taking this medication, stop taking it and consult a doctor. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and generally should be avoided by children under the age of 10 unless in special cases. When taking the tablets, they should be swallowed whole without chewing, and prolonged use may lead to drug tolerance and worsening constipation, so it should not be used for more than a week. If daily laxatives are needed, the cause of constipation must be identified. Store this medication out of the reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and in a sealed container. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
