This medication is effective for relieving fever and pain caused by colds, as well as for low back pain, menstrual pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and post-surgical pain relief. It can also be used for various types of pain such as headaches, migraines, toothaches, muscle pain, and neuralgia. It helps with chronic inflammatory diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, and psoriatic arthritis, as well as soft tissue injuries such as sprains and contusions. This medication can also be applied to extra-articular rheumatic diseases such as tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and bursitis. It is used to improve a variety of pains and inflammation.

How to take

Adult dose

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injury, extra-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Administer 200-600 mg of ibuprofen orally 3-4 times a day. This medication should be used with caution for individuals who drink three or more alcoholic beverages regularly, as it increases the risk of gastric bleeding, necessitating consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. Long-term use of this medication in patients with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors may increase the risk of cardiovascular adverse reactions such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Particularly, individuals with hypertension, heart failure, or ischemic heart disease should use this medication carefully and avoid high doses. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so elderly patients or those on long-term therapy should be especially careful. It is safer not to take this medication if there is a history of gastrointestinal disorders or severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction. Individuals with allergies to the components of this medication or a history of asthma should also avoid taking it. It should not be taken during late pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded, and it is advisable to avoid taking it along with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with high-dose methotrexate or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Patients taking low-dose aspirin, ACE inhibitors, lithium, furosemide and thiazide diuretics, low-dose methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors should consult a doctor or pharmacist.
