Treatment of male pattern hair loss
This medication is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia, in adult males aged 18 to 41. Its safety and effectiveness have been proven, and satisfactory results can be anticipated for the treatment of male pattern hair loss.
Generally, 1 mg of finasteride is taken orally once a day, and it can be taken regardless of meals. There is no evidence that increasing the dose increases effectiveness. Treatment duration and effectiveness should be continuously evaluated. Treatment effects will diminish within 12 months after discontinuation.
