This medication is used to relieve inflammation caused by refractory stomatitis and glossitis. It is particularly effective in treating mouth inflammation accompanied by erosion or ulcers. It aims to improve the symptoms of oral inflammation, reduce pain, and aid recovery. Due to these characteristics, it is widely used for treating inflammation of the mouth and tongue.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with oral tuberculosis, viral, or purulent infections. Additionally, patients who have experienced allergic reactions to this drug should avoid its use. When using this medication, fungal or bacterial infections may occur in the mouth, so if these symptoms appear, appropriate antifungal or antibacterial agents should be used in conjunction, or the use of the medication should be discontinued if necessary. If hypersensitivity reactions occur, usage should be stopped immediately. Long-term use may inhibit the function of the pituitary gland and adrenal gland, so caution is required. Additionally, rarely, symptoms such as blurred vision may occur. Do not eat immediately after applying the medication, and it is not for use in the eyes, so it should not be used for ophthalmic purposes. There have been reports of visual impairment associated with corticosteroid use, so if blurred vision or other visual issues arise, consultation with an ophthalmologist should be sought. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should avoid long-term use of this medication. Caution should be exercised when used long-term in children or adolescents as it may affect growth. Elderly patients have a higher risk of side effects, so special caution should be exercised when using larger amounts for extended periods.
