This medication is used to relieve inflammation associated with refractory stomatitis and glossitis, that is, inflammation occurring in the mouth and tongue accompanied by erosion or ulcer. Patients can improve inflammation symptoms in the affected areas through the use of this medication. Stomatitis and glossitis can cause pain and discomfort, but this medication effectively reduces symptoms. With consistent use, it will assist in the recovery of the inflamed area and help alleviate pain. Therefore, it is recommended to use this medication for the treatment of inflammation occurring in the mouth and tongue.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (disease site) 1 to several times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with tuberculous, viral or other purulent infections in the oral cavity. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication should also avoid its use. Using this medication may cause fungal or bacterial infections in the mouth; if such symptoms occur, appropriate antifungal or antibacterial agents should be used concurrently, or the medication should be discontinued if symptoms do not improve. If a hypersensitive reaction occurs, use of the medication should be stopped immediately. Caution is needed as long-term use may suppress pituitary and adrenal cortex function. Rarely, symptoms of blurred vision may occur. It is advisable not to eat right after use, and it should not be used for ocular purposes. Vision disturbances have been reported due to the use of corticosteroids; thus, if any blurring of vision or abnormalities in vision are felt, an eye specialist should be consulted. It is safer for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant to avoid long-term use of this medication. Caution is warranted in children and adolescents as long-term use may cause growth disturbances. In the elderly, the risk of side effects is higher, so caution should be exercised with high doses or prolonged use.

Serious side effects

Hypersensitivity (potential for severe allergic reaction), recommended to stop use if severe allergic reactions occur (such as hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor).

Mild side effects

Fungal and bacterial infections in the mouth, blurred vision, suppression of pituitary and adrenal cortex function, visual disturbances, growth disturbances, mild symptoms other than respiratory abnormalities such as cough without fever.

Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.

Storage

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container that can block light, ideally at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the medication's efficacy for a long time.
