The maximum daily dosage may be up to 3200 mg. For mild to moderate pain, cold: Administer 200-400 mg orally 3-4 times a day, with adjustment possible based on age and symptoms.

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: Administer 30-40 mg per kilogram of body weight divided into 3-4 doses daily. For mild to moderate pain, cold: For children under 30 kg, the daily maximum is 500 mg (25ml).

This medication is effective for degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used for relieving fever and pain caused by colds, back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. This medication helps with ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, and psoriatic arthritis. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of soft tissue injuries like sprains and bruises, as well as non-articular rheumatic diseases such as tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and bursitis. Overall, it is used to improve symptoms of various pains and inflammatory diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injury, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Administer 200-600 mg orally 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dosage may be up to 3200 mg. For mild to moderate pain, cold: Administer 200-400 mg orally 3-4 times a day, with adjustment possible based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

People who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. It may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. Additionally, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including this medication, can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Especially, individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should exercise caution while taking this drug, and those on long-term therapy should be closely monitored for cardiovascular adverse reactions. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations. Elderly patients and those on long-term therapy are at higher risk for gastrointestinal adverse reactions and should be cautious. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver disease, kidney disease, heart failure, or severe hypertension should not take this medication. Additionally, individuals with hypersensitivity to its components or a history of bronchial asthma should avoid this medication. Pregnant women in late pregnancy and patients undergoing cancer therapy should also refrain from taking it. This medication should not exceed the recommended dosage and should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. During breastfeeding, since this drug can be transferred through breast milk, causing severe adverse reactions in infants, breastfeeding should be stopped or the drug should be discontinued. Patients with blood disorders or bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney diseases, or cardiovascular diseases or severe hypertension should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Interaction may occur when taken with certain drugs, so patients should inform their healthcare provider of any other medications they are taking. If any serious adverse signs such as severe allergic reactions, blood disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, skin rashes, liver dysfunction, respiratory difficulties, or kidney issues occur during treatment, the patient should immediately stop taking the medication and consult a medical professional. This medication should ideally be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration, and those on long-term treatment should undergo regular check-ups to monitor for any abnormalities. Monitoring blood pressure and fluid status is important for patients with hypertension or heart failure. Overdose may result in serious adverse effects; therefore, medical attention should be sought immediately, even in the absence of symptoms. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container, as transferring it to a different container poses a risk of misuse or quality degradation.

Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, sudden and severe headaches, lightning-type headaches, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, significantly reduced urine output, systemic symptoms.
