Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to protein-based drugs. If symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, or conjunctivitis occur in the eyes, use should be discontinued immediately. Blepharitis or inflammation may also occur, so appropriate treatment should be sought if symptoms arise. Adverse reactions may be more pronounced when used with other eye drops, so when using this medication with other eye drops, it should be administered with a 30-minute interval. This medication is for direct instillation into the eye only; care must be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eye or eyelashes. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and after opening, should be used only once, with any remaining medication discarded. It is important to avoid sharing with others to prevent infection. Store out of reach of children, and keep in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Transferring the medication to another container may increase the risk of misuse, so it must be stored in the original container.
