Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers (antacid effect), improvement of symptoms of gastritis
This medication is used to effectively treat conditions such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis by reducing gastric acid secretion. It also helps alleviate uncomfortable symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux caused by excessive gastric acid, and aids in the improvement of gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Overall, it is effective in controlling the acidic environment of the stomach, improving symptoms, and protecting the gastric mucosa.
As Almagate, take 1 g 3 times a day, chew and take orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken at bedtime if necessary.
For children over 12 years of age, administer 1 g of Almagate 3 times a day, chew and take orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken at bedtime if necessary.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this drug or any of its components. Additionally, it should not be used by patients with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, edema, or pre-eclampsia, those experiencing diarrhea, or patients with unknown causes of gastrointestinal bleeding. Avoid taking this medication concurrently with certain antibiotics, specifically tetracycline antibiotics, as they may interfere with each other's absorption. If taking other medications, consult a physician or pharmacist before use, as this medication may affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs. Particular caution is required for those with poor kidney function, as the ingredients may accumulate in the body. It is also important for individuals with weak constitution, those on a diet low in phosphorus, those with digestive absorption issues, the elderly, those exhibiting symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as pregnant, potentially pregnant, or breastfeeding women to consult a professional before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs, or if symptoms persist for more than two weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and when given to children, it should be administered under the supervision of a guardian. Store in a place out of reach of children, in the original container with the lid tightly closed. It is best to keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
