View approved original text

This medication is used in conjunction with diet and exercise to help control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. It can be used as monotherapy when starting treatment, and in cases where blood sugar control is difficult with monotherapy, it can be used in combination with metformin. This approach maximizes the effectiveness of blood sugar control tailored to various treatment conditions. As a result, this medication is used to improve blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
